Ministry to Children? How do you do that?

God designed for parents to be responsible for the nurturing of their children. Calvary Baptist Church seeks to offer parents that vital role of assisstance; your child belongs to you, and we want to help you fulfill your goal of raising a child for the glory of God.

We offer a variety of venues in our church ministry where adult workers promote biblical values in a fun-filled atmosphere. We intend to encourage your children regarding their spiritual development and their awareness that God has designed has designed this world for His glory and our good.

At Calvary, children learn of Jesus through studying the Bible to see what He said and what He did. Only through knowing Jesus can children have abundant life.

Ministries Available for Children:

Elementary Sunday School: 9:00 a.m. Every Sunday

Calvary has classes for children of every age. Each class seeks to enrich the child’s spiritual life with Bible stories and life lessons.

Children’s Church: 10 a.m. Every Sunday

During the morning worship service for adults, Calvary offers a special “junior” level church service aimed at a child’s level of understanding.

Truth Trackers: 6:45 p.m. Every Wednesday Night

A program of game-time, verse memorization, and rally-time with singing and preaching from the Bible. Each class focuses on similar lessons which are age specific.

Tiny Trackers: 6:45 p.m. Every Wednesday Night

Similar to Truth Trackers, but aimed toward the younger child (3-5 year olds).

Nursery Care: Every Service

We can care for babies free of charge so that adults can enjoy all our worship activities.

Bus Service: Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Nights

Transportation to and from church is available at no charge in a safe environment. We also escort children to their various ministries.

Light House: 6:45 p.m. During Summer Wednesdays

This ministry is very similar to the Truth Trackers ministry. It is reserved for our summer months.

Vacation Bible School: Offered one week every summer

An intense week of Bible lessons, games, and Scripture memory aimed at intensifying God’s work in young hearts.
