Dean was raised in a pastor’s home and was saved in evangelistic meetings in his father’s church at the age of 14. He was part of an musical outreach team and through Bible studies with that group grew to love the Word of God and developed a passion for music ministry. Dean married his high school sweetheart, Brenda, in 1979 and graduated from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College with Bachelors degrees in Bible and Music Education in 1981. He served on the teaching and pastoral staff of Calvary Baptist Church in Lansdale, PA for 25 years. During that time he earned his Masters from Pensacola Christian College and his Doctorate of Ministry from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary. Dean and Brenda have two daughters, Sarah and Colette.
