Doug was saved as a junior high student in the Detroit area. He graduated in 1979 from Maranatha Baptist Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Studies, and a MA Degree in Biblical Counseling in 2008. He has 30 years of pastoral experience as an Assistant, Youth, Associate, and Business Manager. The Lord led Doug, his wife Karen, and their four children. Caleb, Rachel, Bethany, and Josh to Calvary Baptist Church in 2000.

Doug’s life verse is Ephesians 5:15-17 “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.”
